Stabbing in San Diego’s Old Town Leaves Man Injured

Authorities investigating an evening attack; the suspect still at large.

SAN DIEGO — A harrowing attack unfolded in the historic Old Town neighborhood of San Diego leaving a 72-year-old man injured after he was reportedly stabbed by an unknown assailant.

The San Diego Police Department has released details of the incident, which occurred on the 4000 block of Taylor Street shortly before 6:30 p.m. According to the information provided, the victim was stabbed in the stomach but was swiftly transported to the hospital with injuries that are fortunately described as non-life threatening.

As of now, the authorities have not released any description of the suspect, leaving the community on edge. The circumstances surrounding the stabbing are still under active investigation, with the San Diego Police Western Division spearheading the inquiry.
